Pediatric cancer is increasing and unexplained while progress in treating cancer in 
children is lagging.

The incidence of cancer is increasing among U.S. adolescents at a greater rate than 
in any other age group, except those older than 65 years.

Currently, pediatric cancer cannot be prevented.

The causes of most pediatric cancers are unknown.
